First-year student of FPCS became the European Champion in Para-Armwrestling

A student of group 103-FS of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Serhii Varych became the European champion in para-armwrestling, having won four honourable awards of the prestigious competition. The athlete of Poltava Polytechnic was awarded the title of Master of Sports of International Class of Ukraine for his high sporting achievements.

First-year student of FPCS became the European Champion in Para-Armwrestling

From 2 to 12 May, 2024, the European Para-Armwrestling Championships were held in Bratislava, capital of Slovenia, with para-athletes from 62 countries participating. Ukraine was represented by 62 para-athletes who demonstrated physical endurance, dedication and determination to win.

A student of group 103-FS of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Serhii Varych performed well at the European Para-Armwrestling Championships.

According to the results of the competition, the athlete of Poltava Polytechnic won the European Para-Armwrestling Championships, getting two gold and two bronze medals for both arms.

A student of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Poltava Polytechnic Serhii Varych was awarded the title of Master of Sports of International Class of Ukraine for his high sports achievements.

Recently, a graduate of Polytechnic became a five-time world champion in Thai boxing, the picked team of Polytechnic became a silver medallist of the XXII Football Championship of Ukraine among Higher Education Institutions, athletes of Polytechnic became silver medallists of the European Football Championship, first-year students of FPCS won a full set of awards of the Ukrainian Canoeing Championship.
