First-Year Students of Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management Become Winners at Research Competition in Philosophy

Maria Novak and Rostyslav Orlenko, first-year students at Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management (ERIFEM), won at the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Philosophy. They presented the results of their research on a popular motivation theory of a famous Canadian philanthropist.

The research of Maria Novak and Rostyslav Orlenko, students of group 101FM of ERIFEM, called “Philosophical grounds of John Kehoe’s popular motivation theory” won at the second round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Philosophy held at National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The authors were given third-grade diplomas.

“This year, the Student Research Competition was highly competitive, students from the best universities of Ukraine were all very well prepared. As students’ research is one of the top-priority focus points of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, our students did not stand aside of these scientific competition. We are proud of our students who can decently represent the polytechnic,” said their academic advisor, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Culture and Documentation of Yuri Kondratyuk National University Viktor Chernyshov.

More than 50 participants from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Lutsk, Lviv, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk took part in the second round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Philosophy.

The high-qualified jury chose 13 research articles on current philosophical problems for the final stage of the competition.
