According to the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of February 1, which supported the previous decision of the Academic Council of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, five scientists were awarded with academic titles.
At the meeting of the Academic Council, the Rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko presented the certificate of professor to Vice-Rector for Scientific-Pedagogical and Educational Work – scientist of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Construction Machinery and Equipment Bohdan Korobko.
Also, the academic title of professor was awarded to Tetiana Kushnirova, Doctor of Philology (Department of Germanic Philology and Translation, Faculty of Humanities).
Academic titles of associate professor were awarded to:
- Liudmila Derevyanko – Candidate of Philology (Department of the Ukrainian Studies, Culture and Documentation, Faculty of Humanities);
- Alina Zyhun – Candidate of Technical Sciences (Department of Construction and Civil Engineering, Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management);
- Mykola Nesterenko – Candidate of Technical Sciences (Department of Construction Machinery and Equipment, Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics)
“This is a unique case in the history of the university. However we witnessed this event and I am especially happy to fulfill my honorable mission – during the war I presented our scientists with certificates of academic titles. I thank you for your tireless scientific work and high professionalism! We plan to defend our dissertations in the near future, so Poltava Polytechnic can be an exemplary institution of higher education in Ukraine, which did not stop performing its tasks and functions even for a moment. Congratulations, colleagues! Glory to Ukraine! Thank you, the Armed Forces of Ukraine!” – congratulated the Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
Last year, Polytechnic scientists received certificates of academic titles.
