Scholarships are paid only to those students who have a grade point average of at least 4.5 or have been distinguished by special achievements in the public work of higher or professional higher education institutions, in art, science or sports.
Scholarship holders of Poltava City Council are:
- Mykola Bochkar (student of the Faculty of Humanities, participant of educational and scientific projects in philology and literary studies)
- Nadiia Kobeletska (student of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas, participant of international academic projects, head of the Secretariat of the Student Parliament)
- Anastasiia Taran (student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, presidential scholarship holder, champion in classic bench press and bench press)
- Victoriia Bova (Separate structural subdivision "Poltava College of Oil and Gas" of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", head of the College Student Parliament and member of the Youth Council of the city, student of "Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology", who after the second academic year received a certificate of obtaining complete general secondary education with honors for outstanding academic achievements (gold medal).
The monthly scholarship for students is 1,500 UAH. The payment period is from September 1 to December 31, 2021.

Recently, a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics of Poltava Polytechnic was awarded an academic scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and a PhD student was awarded an academic scholarship of the President of Ukraine.
