From August 24 to 27, the Polish city of Dzierżoniów hosted the European Military Sports All-Around Championships, where experienced athletes from 12 countries of the world competed for the championship. The participants demonstrated excellent preparation and thirst for victory in two types of combat – shooting and fighting. The winners were determined by the sum of points in each category.
Master's student of group 501-FS of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" Nikita Solovei became the winner at the European Championship in military-sports all-around, taking the first and second prizes in the age category of 18-39 years, weight category of up to 65 kg:
I place – version B-5;
II place – version B-1.
In the overall standings, the Ukrainian national team took first place at the championship. The second place was taken by the Polish team; the third place was taken by the German team.

It should be recalled that earlier the student of FPCS Nikita Solovei became the winner of the Championship of Ukraine in military sports all-around 2023 in memory of the Hero of Ukraine Valerii Chybinieiev, was awarded by the Poltava community for high achievements in sports, became the gold medalist of the Open Championship in military sports all-around, and at the Championship of military sports all-around took first place.
Recently, female athletes of the Polytechnic became the medalists of the World Powerlifting Championship among male and female juniors, boys and girls, student-athletes became multi-medalists of the 2023 World Para Swimming Championships, and the teacher of the Poltava Polytechnic Oksana Hordiienko became the silver medalist of the European Championship in classical bench press.
