National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” actively joined the All-Ukrainian book collection project “Free People Read in Ukrainian!”. The project aims to fill libraries, library corners and bookshelves in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Sumy regions with Ukrainian books.
The collection of books across the country was initiated by the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Project “United” and student language ombudsmen.
For several months, students, academic staff, employees of Poltava Polytechnic, and everyone else brought books to the Scientific and Technical Library of Poltava Polytechnic.
Together, they managed to collect more than 150 books, including works of modern Ukrainian literature, world and national classics, and popular science publications in Ukrainian.
