On October 22, 2022, the Open Taekwondo Tournament “Pokalturnier Bretten” was held in the German city of Bretten, where athletes from different countries of the world competed for high awards. Ukrainians actively replenished national treasury of awards with gold, silver and bronze medals.
A student of group 102-FS of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Vladyslav Shavyro became the gold medalist of the Open Taekwondo Tournament, winning a convincing victory in confrontations with experienced opponents.
We congratulate the athlete on his victory, wish him life’s energy, optimism, significant personal achievements in conquering new sports peaks!
Previously, the Polytechnic athletes became the prize-winners of the All-Ukrainian tournament in kettlebell sports “Pereiaslavska autumn-2022”, the university students became the gold medalists of the Football Championships of Ukraine among athletes with hearing impairment, the student of the FPCS won five medals of the Rowing Championships of Ukraine on the “Dragon” boats, and the student Mykhailo Serdiuk became the bronze medalist of the World Cup in martial arts among students.
