Our university admitted to studies the biggest (!) amount of applicants in the Poltava region!

It is important to note the fact that this year, applicants from almost all of Ukraine became first-year students! Congratulations to freshmen from Poltava and Poltava region, from Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia and other regions of Ukraine!
I thank you and your parents for deciding to study at home in an extremely difficult time for Ukraine! Your decision is evidence that we have not only brave young people in the first year of our university, but also patriots who are responsible for the fate of their country. Thank you very much for choosing Poltava Polytechnic. You definitely made the right choice!!!
Our university is a beauty of Poltava region, an institution of higher education of Ukraine that successfully combines 200-year-old educational traditions with modern innovations! Poltava Polytechnic is a classic university where students study almost 100 educational programs. The university is included in the TOP-50 best universities of Ukraine according to various rankings! Including the QS ranking – the International Quality Ranking! The leading university that is dynamically developing and next year (God willing, it will be after our Victory) will celebrate 205 years since its foundation.
The 2022/2023 academic year is a year of challenges and trials related to the war unleashed by russia and the new threats of the coronavirus. However, we adequately cope with the challenges under the slogan “Education and science despite the war”. Poltava Polytechnic is one of the few higher education institutions of Ukraine, which started the educational process, according to the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, from August 15 in an offline format, of course, in compliance with all the requirements of a safe educational process organization. And I thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity for young people to go to classes, and to students and teachers for clearly abiding by the rules of life safety!
During my meeting together with the student self-government of the Polytechnic and with you, dear freshmen, the “air raid alarm” signal sounded and you clearly, and most importantly calmly, packed your things and went to the shelter. So, I emphasize once again that safety is above all else! Safety rules must be strictly followed! After all, the university educates not only individuals who have thorough knowledge, but also patriots and the intellectual elite of Ukraine, who must be protected in every possible way!
I am extremely proud to note that Polytechnic is leading not only in the amount of admitted students, but in their high level of knowledge as well.
The years of study at the university are the years of your formation as creative professionals in your field, successful athletes, future scientists and effective politicians who will glorify Ukraine with their achievements. I am sure that you, after completing your studies, will be the leaders who will take Ukraine to a new level! You will rebuild the destroyed infrastructure and build a new European Ukraine. I am proud of you!
Therefore, I wish you that the years of study at the Poltava Polytechnic will be years of gaining knowledge and forming the base that will be the basis of your success in life for decades to come!

“Congratulations to the esteemed, huge university family! First of all, I want to address the teachers with huge words of thanks and today to congratulate you on the upcoming professional holiday of education workers. I wish you inspiration and wisdom. The most important thing: don’t forget that today your parents gave you the most valuable thing they have – their children. Let them be adults, let them be students, but this is the most valuable treasure of our state.
Parents, today is our victory, that our children have become students. Let your children delight you with their achievements every day.
And dear freshmen! You do not fully understand this yet, but it was you who gathered everyone on this stage today – the city leaders, the regional leaders, all the teachers. Today you set foot on the path of student life. You have wonderful years of learning, perceiving, defining your future profession and life’s work ahead of you. These are the best times of your life.
I am glad to be able to personally congratulate you on this holiday. And I am happy that so many students have decided to enter a Ukrainian university and realize themselves on our, Ukrainian land. We all have studied at the Poltava Polytechnic: me, Oleh, Artem. Here we chose our path. I found myself in science, I really liked it. Oleh chose sport for himself and now he has significant achievements. It is not every day that the President of Ukraine can present you with an award. During his student years, Artem developed as a creative personality and now he is known as a rap artist. We are all different, but we all found ourselves at the Poltava Polytechnic.
