From March 10 to April 20, 2024, the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business of the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" hosted the II All-Ukrainian Photo and Poster Contest "It All Starts with Tourism!" aimed at popularizing tourism in Ukraine, as well as identifying and supporting talented students and young professionals in this field.
The competition was attended by 125 contestants from all regions of Ukraine, who sent a total of 230 photos and artistic images on tourism, travel and travel. This contest brings together photographers, designers, illustrators and other creative people who want to share their own vision of the development of the tourism industry, travel and travel.
The creative competition was joined by the second-year students majoring in Tourism and Recreation (242) of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" Anna Oleksandrina and Diana Buryak, who prepared interesting creative works under the guidance of PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of International Economic Relations and Tourism Department Viktoria Makhovka.
The future tourism industry professionals expressed a desire to show the beauty of the tourist destinations of Poltava and Kharkiv regions, inspiring fellow citizens to travel, have an active rest and explore new unique corners of Ukraine and other countries. Students of Poltava Polytechnic were awarded with the certificates for their active participation in the contest and for their original thinking and creative approach.
Their academic mentor, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of International Economic Relations and Tourism of Poltava Polytechnic, Viktoriia Makhovka, was also awarded the Acknowledgement of the contest organizers for preparing the participants of the II All-Ukrainian Photo and Poster Contest " It All Starts with Tourism!".
Earlier, university students took part in the international scientific competition "Black Sea Science" by preparing their own scientific developments, and polytechnic students were recognized for the high level of their scientific research presented at the international competition.
Recently, members of the student club traveled to little-known tourist locations in the country.
