From 1 to 9 September 2024, the club world championship in Dragon Boat Rowing 14TH IDBF 2024 CLUB CREW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS among adults, youth and juniors took place in Ravenna, Italy.
The large-scale sporting event brought together more than 3,000 athletes from 163 clubs from 30 countries. During the six days of active competitions for the championship and medal sets of the prestigious sports tournament, the athletes made 475 swims.
A student of academic group 601-FS of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Master of Sports of Ukraine in Dragon Boat Rowing Kateryna Petrenko became the World Dragon Boat Rowing Champion, winning the Mix 500m – SB category as a member of Team “Salsa Kyiv”. Earlier, FPCS student Kateryna Petrenko won a set of awards at the European Dragon Boat Championship.
