On the Day of Remembrance of the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine, memorial events will be held at the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" – the university staff will honor those who gave the most valuable – their lives – in the fight for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
On August 27-29, Poltava Polytechnic will join the all-Ukrainian action "Sunflower of Memory".
On August 29, at 1:00 p.m., a memorial rally will be held – employees and young students of the Poltava Polytechnic will gather near the memorial plaques to the fallen defenders: a graduate of the Electromechanical Faculty Dmytro Koriak, and a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Land Management Maksym Khitailov. A meeting with the mothers of the fallen soldiers is planned.
During the event, the administration of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" will present the renovation project of the Memorial Stele to the fallen teachers and students.
We invite everyone to honor the feat of those who have helped Ukraine continue to live, develop and fight for its own sovereignty.
