“Students of all the specializations are welcome to participate in the student essay competition about Poltava Polytechnic in English. The topic of the competition, “My University”, is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of our Alma Mater, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. The winner will receive a certificate to study at the Foreign Language Center of our university and the possibility to improve their English proficiency or start learning a new foreign language,” the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Anna Ageicheva said.
The participation is free of charge. Deadline for submitting your essay is October 5, 2020. Your work should be sent to Languagecentre@nupp.edu.ua
You can take part if
- you are a student of Poltava Polytechnic;
- you have a high level of English;
- you would like to write something about your university.
The essay is required to be:
- 500-600 words long;
- your original work;
- written in English;
- saved as a Microsoft Word document.
You can use pictures to illustrate your ideas in the essay.
The document must contain contact information (your e-mail, the name of your education and research institute/faculty, your group and phone number).
The winners will be awarded at the I International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Problems of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies”, which will be held on October 12-13.
