The Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” extends fruitful cooperation with IT companies. On October 17, 2023, a representative of the NIX IT team visited the university students with a guest lecture on “All about Python first hand”, which was attended by all interested bachelors and masters who are still hesitating about choosing a programming language or want to learn more about how to become a promising IT specialist.
The speaker was Denys Moskalenko, Senior Python Engineer, who motivated students to study by talking about the advantages of Python, job prospects in this area, explained where to start learning Python, how not to drop out of studies and how to get the first offer.
Live discussions with the lecturer helped students find answers to questions related to professional development, and the speaker shared his own experience of working in a team.
The NIX team is an active partner of the Poltava Polytechnic, one of the largest flagships of IT outsourcing in Ukraine, engaged in the development and support of software in the areas of PHP, .NET, Java, C++, JavaScript/UI, CMS, iPhone/Android and is actively involved in ensuring the quality of the educational process of the university by conducting professional and introductory lectures for students, inviting students and excursions to the Poltava branch of the team, as well as involving teachers in professional development.
It should be recalled that the students of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies and Robotics visited the Poltava office of the Nix IT team.
Earlier, the participants of the students’ scientific club discussed the peculiarities of the functioning of the financial market of Ukraine in the conditions of martial law, and the methodological fund of the Department of Public Administration and Law was replenished with scientific publications on criminal procedural law.
