On March 5-6, 2023, the XIX Ukrainian Cheerleading Championship among adults, male and female juniors was held in the city of Lviv at the "Bosco-Arena" sports club. During two intense days, more than 1,300 experienced athletes, pupils of 39 sports clubs from 13 regions of our country gave the audience spectacular performances and interesting compositions. Members of a highly professional jury determined the winners and prize-winners in six nominations: "hip-hop team", "hip-hop quartet", "hip-hop duet", "jazz team", "jazz duet" and "dance team". According to the results of the competition, the coaching staff of the Championship identified the best athletes who will represent the national team of Ukraine at the World Championships in the United States of America and the European Championships in Italy.
The large-scale sports event was solemnly opened by People's Deputy of Ukraine, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Nataliia Pipa and the head of the Sports Department of Lviv City Council Anton Nikulin, who noted the high level of organization and holding of prestigious competitions as well as wished the country's sports elite successful performances, significant personal achievements and enchanting victories.
The cheerleaders of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" successfully performed at the XIX Ukrainian Championship among adults, male and female juniors and won gold medals of prestigious sports competitions. As part of the national team of the city of Poltava, Polytechnic was represented at the championship by a Master of Sports of Ukraine, student of group 401-FM Kseniia Kolomiiets; a student of group 101-FS Anastasiia Holub and Master of Sports of Ukraine in cheerleading, Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education, Head of the Department of Physical Education of Poltava Polytechnic Tetiana Synytsia.
By the results of the competition, the female athletes of the Poltava Polytechnic have a gold medal in the "hip-hop team" category, and the student Anastasiia Holub became a bronze medalist of the competition in the "hip-hop quartet" category. According to the participants, each new victory positively motivates them to train even harder, prepare more actively for performances and unites the team together to reach the next step of the sports Olympus.

It should be recalled that earlier the cheerleaders of the Polytechnic won a full set of awards at the Championship of Ukraine among adults, male and female juniors, won gold and silver medals at the Kyiv Open Championship, and became the prize-winners of the Poltava Championship.
Recently, the Polytechnic athletes became gold medalists of the Championship of Ukraine in kettlebell sports among juniors and adults, the team of the Polytechnic became the champion of the XVIII Universiade of Poltava region in basketball, and the teams of the Polytechnic won the All-Ukrainian competition in sports billiards "Free Pyramid".
