On the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of the Volunteer Headquarters of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" visited the Poltava Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support and congratulated the military on their professional holiday.

The indomitable defenders were personally congratulated by the rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko, who noted the key role of the Ukrainian army in resisting russian aggression. According to the head of Poltava Polytechnic, it is now impossible to imagine a nation whose courageous spirit and iron will to victory will surpass the achievements of Ukrainians.

"This year, this day is very special, because we honor the daily feat of our military in the conditions of russian military aggression, bow low to the heroism of those who protect our peace, create opportunities for students to study offline, and teachers to hold large-scale events as well as scientific and practical conferences. We appreciate the chance given to us to engage in professional activities, implement the most ambitious plans and bring our Victory closer with joint efforts!

Poltava Polytechnic maintains its own educational front, doing everything possible to successfully master high-quality knowledge by student youth, as future professionals are responsible for rebuilding the destroyed infrastructure, socio-economic restoration of life in the best country in the world – Ukraine. And the Volunteer Headquarters of the Polytechnic, established at the beginning of the war, demonstrated the readiness of young people to provide assistance to our defenders, working for the benefit of their people.

On behalf of myself and the team of thousands of the Poltava Polytechnic, I express my sincere gratitude to the administration – Colonel Dmytro Anatoliiovych Hubskyi and the personnel of the Poltava Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support for many years of fruitful cooperation – thanks to you, we work, study, grow professionally, the whole world admires your indomitability and Ukrainians are proud of you! Peace and Victory to our country!" – greeted the rector.

The head of the Poltava Polytechnic completed an honorable mission – he presented the Honorary Diploma of the University to the Military Commissariat and the team of the Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support for indomitability, invincibility, courage, fortitude, patriotism and a colossal thirst for victory over the enemy.

"Dear servicemen! Today, in your person, I want to congratulate all the defenders of Ukraine who, during the nine months of protracted bloody war with the russian aggressor, have been defending the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country. The Ukrainian army once again foiled the enemy's insidious plans, turning the russian federation's dreams of subjugating the freedom-loving, unconquered nation into a false myth. For hundreds of years, our people have been fighting for common freedom. We will not back down from the victorious struggle even now, because for every liberated city, town or village, there are hundreds of saved lives, human destinies and faith that everything will be fine!" – stressed Poltava Regional Military Commissar Dmytro Hubskyi.

Honorary diplomas and medals were awarded to the best servicemen who devoted 15 years of their lives to service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, showed courage, valor and strong spirit in battles with the enemy. During the solemn meeting, four servicemen of the Poltava Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support, who demonstrated their readiness to defend the independence of our country with conscientious work and an open civic stance, received regular military ranks.

As the founder of the Volunteer Headquarters of Poltava Polytechnic, the head of the University's Center for Culture and Student Creativity and the Rector's Advisor on Youth Policy Artem Loik said, it is thanks to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who defend the country at the cost of their lives, not retreating from the russian aggressor, that every conscious Ukrainian can work, study, volunteer and collect humanitarian aid for those who currently need it. He presented his poetry, written since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and several songs imbued with the leitmotif of the indomitability of the Ukrainian people.

"The war did not leave any heart indifferent, it changed the course of our lives, changed ourselves. Ukrainians began to think differently, united and were able to do the impossible – not to give up and not lose faith in their own strength! I feel tremendous changes in myself, realizing that I can do much more. Today I am giving you my poems, songs, owing their creation to you, the best and fairest army in the world!" – stressed the founder of the Volunteer Headquarters of Poltava Polytechnic and head of the University's Center for Culture and Student Creativity Artem Loik.

Another musical gift to the military was made by a student of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of Poltava Polytechnic Mariia Serba.

Together with the rector, the volunteers visited the military hospital and presented the defenders with a thank-you concert and some necessary items.

"This support is mutual – it is our soldiers who motivate us to do even more useful things! It was an honor to chat and shake your hands! We wish you a speedy recovery. The atmosphere was incredible!" – commented the rector.

Earlier, volunteers of Poltava Polytechnic presented their experience at the "Winning Together" forum, and future translators collected charitable assistance for a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
