On November 29 from 13:00 to 16:00 a free mobile HIV/AIDS testing center will operate on the campus of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, together with the Poltava Regional Council’s Regional Center for HIV / AIDS Prevention and Control and the “Light of Hope” charity organization, joined a social initiative aimed at building a healthy civil society.
The action will take place as part of the events dedicated to World AIDS Day, which is celebrated annually on December 1, and the European HIV Testing Week. Everyone will be able to take a free HIV/AIDS test and talk to specialists. The organizers will ensure compliance with all necessary anti-epidemic and quarantine restrictions caused by the dynamic spread of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
During the testing, partakers will receive comprehensive information about the symptoms, routes of transmission and features of HIV/AIDS. Banners with relevant information and educational materials will be installed on the territory.
