Open Call for the Erasmus+ ICM Programme at the University of Rzeszów (Poland) for the Summer Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year

International academic mobility under the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme is not merely a memorable milestone of one’s student years, but a strategic investment in one’s global competitiveness. Studying at reputable European universities provides access to innovative educational methodologies, advanced laboratories, and library collections, helps overcome language barriers, and enables students to build a valuable network of contacts with like-minded peers from across the world. Such an experience extends beyond the conventional comfort zone, fostering leadership qualities and self-reliance that employers in today's international labour market highly value.

For our university's higher education students, such mobility is both safe and seamlessly integrated into their studies: thanks to the ECTS credit system, all courses completed abroad are officially recognised and transferred to their home university, ensuring continuity in each student's educational trajectory. Poltava Polytechnic consistently supports the integration of Ukrainian youth into the common European higher education and research area. It systematically creates new opportunities for professional growth through strengthening inter-institutional cooperation.

National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, jointly with its long-standing European partner – the University of Rzeszów (Uniwersytet Rzeszowski, Poland) – announces a competitive selection among higher education students for participation in the Erasmus+ credit academic mobility programme (Project KA131-2026) for the summer semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

Application Procedure for the Erasmus+ Credit Academic Mobility Programme

Step 1. Contacting the Degree-Granting Department

The student contacts their degree-granting department requesting consideration for participation in the credit mobility programme.

The department conducts a comparative review of the courses in the Ukrainian curriculum the student studied against the course offerings of the relevant institute at the University of Rzeszów for the spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

If the list and content of courses align, the department prepares two official internal memos (in accordance with the established mobility document checklist) and submits a request to the directorate of the Educational and Research Institute / Dean's Office for the issuance of an academic transcript (transcript of records).

Students for whom the department has not issued two official memos and the directorate/dean’s office has not provided a transcript of records (i.e., applicants lacking written confirmation of the feasibility of transferring learning outcomes) will not be admitted to the competition.

Step 2. Preparation of the Individual Application Package

The candidate prepares a set of documents:

• 2 official internal memos from the degree-granting department;

• Academic transcript (transcript of grades for the entire duration of study);

• Scanned copy of the international passport (first spread with the photograph, .pdf format);

• European format CV (Europass CV in English with an up-to-date photograph, up to 2 pages in .pdf format);

• Motivation letter in English (up to 1 page, .pdf format);

• Letter of recommendation from a departmental faculty member or academic supervisor;

• Passport-sized photograph (.jpeg);

Please note: Motivation letters undergo mandatory screening for academic plagiarism and unauthorised use of artificial intelligence. Submitting identical motivation letters to different competitive calls is strictly prohibited.

Step 3. Submission of Documents

Submit the application package simultaneously in electronic and hard-copy formats through the degree-granting department to the International Relations Department of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” (Room 213-C).

E-mail address for submission: interoffice@nupp.edu.ua

We will not consider documents submitted after the deadline or that do not comply with the established requirements.
