It should be noted that students of different structural subdivisions of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” continue to take part in international academic and youth exchanges, Erasmus+ academic mobility programmes in Austria, Greenland, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, the Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom. Future professionals deepen their theoretical knowledge, acquire additional practical skills in a variety of areas and successfully master professional cases at leading European partner universities.

A student of group 301-HO of Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of Poltava Polytechnic Maryna Marushka took part in the Erasmus+ academic exchange programme and became one of 55 international exchange participants from Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Italy, Jerusalem who demonstrated their organisational skills at the “Knüpfwerk” youth camp in Castel Gandolfo (Italy).

The project participant enthusiastically shared her impressions of participating in a large-scale international project: “The mix of cultures, languages and religions of the young participants generates a beautiful fusion of stories that can be told through digital media. A five-minute video of the team was recorded from different points of view of the body – from the toes to the eyes. Every day there was a seminar on the relevant topic of the day, so we spent our leisure time in a meaningful and useful way.”

During the action-packed week, young people from around the world, accompanied by an international team of 20 animators and artists, created 30-minute, short videos called “Reels”. In the process, a documentary about the camp was also made for the Italian audience and 6 podcasts were recorded in English.

“I joined this project,” – continues participant Maryna Marushka, – “because I wanted to show that Ukrainians are a developed and creative nation that speaks foreign languages very well, and I had an unbridled desire to ‘promote’ our culture and traditions.

We took part in workshops, team building activities, film and music making, tried our hand at singing, theatre, media and production, competitive team games and cultural events. By the way, my team wrote a rap using the Ukrainian language.”
