Philology students are taking an intensive language course in Germany

Students of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” have started studying at summer language courses in Stuttgart. The program of staying in Germany involves studying at summer language courses and getting to know the famous places and other cities of the country.

Philology students are taking an intensive language course in Germany

On August 1, students of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy of the Poltava Polytechnic, Anastasiia Bida, Valeriia Demko and future master’s student Anna Ovsii, under the leadership of the senior lecturer of the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages, Candidate of Philological Sciences Iryna Yakubenko, began studying at summer language courses in Stuttgart (Germany).

“This is a great language practice and a chance to improve conversational skills for those who want to improve their knowledge and progress in their chosen profession,” – commented Iryna Yakubenko.

At the beginning of their studies, the students passed a test and will now study in a four-week intensive course of the German language according to the established level of foreign language proficiency.

The program of stay in Germany covers not only studying, but also getting to know the famous places and other great cities of the country, such as Frankfurt, Berlin, Tübingen and Bodensee.

Previously, students of the Faculty of Philology, Psychology and Pedagogy became active participants in the summer language platform “Sprachakademie”, and a student translator participated in the 12-day Erasmus+ youth exchange “Bridging the needs of RefuNEETs”, which took place in Denmark.
