On the occasion of Education Worker's Day, the Rector of the University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine Volodymyr Onyshchenko congratulated the team of the Poltava College of Oil and Gas and noted their fruitful and effective work.
"10 years of successful teamwork between the college and the university is a combination of the best traditions with innovations, consolidation of experience and professionalism, integration of education and science, reliable partnership that contributes to the successful development of all areas of the college's activities.
The result of the dedicated work of the highly professional college teaching staff is the high achievements of students in the educational, scientific, social and sports spheres.
Despite the difficult wartime conditions, the college ensures a high level of education and realization of the interests of student youth, maintains partnership relations with stakeholders. High-quality training is provided both in classrooms and online. And along with the exemplary performance of their professional duties, the college team, led by the unsurpassed Liubov Petrivna Shumska, has been fulfilling its humanitarian mission since the first days of the war, supporting IDPs as well as improving the material and technical base of the college.
Thanks to hard work, humanity and mutual assistance, the college staff holds together our front – educational, professional and humanitarian, for the sake of a common goal – the victory of Ukraine!

The staff of Poltava College of Oil and Gas of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", headed by the director of the college Liubov Shumska, was awarded the Citations of the Rector of the Poltava Polytechnic for effective work during the admission campaign, the initiative and perseverance of the college staff, active volunteering and significant contribution to the development of the education sector of Ukraine and on the occasion of the Education Worker's Day.
"The year 2022 is extremely important for the Poltava College of Oil and Gas, as there are two anniversaries: the 55th anniversary since its foundation and 10 years in the friendly family of the Poltava Polytechnic. We planned this year completely differently. But everything changed in our lives after February 24. We began to live and work in a completely different way, but our willingness to always be ahead, where we are needed, to do what we can and know how remained unchanged.
Despite all the challenges presented to us this year, we managed to provide high-quality recruitment. This result was quite expected, we strived for it together. We fulfilled the largest state order in the region, increased the total number of students compared to last year.
A large number of awards from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine speaks of the recognition of our achievements. There will definitely be a holiday with all the festivities, but after our victory, which we believe in and do everything possible on our front to make it happen as soon as possible," – said the director of the college, Candidate of Technical Sciences Liubov Shumska.
Deputy Director of Scientific and Methodological Work of the Poltava College of Oil and Gas of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" Iryna Valeriivna Vorontsova was awarded the medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "Educational Excellence".
Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was awarded to:
- Voronianskyi Volodymyr Stanislavovych – teacher of "Defense of Ukraine" and "Computer Science" subjects;
- Kuzmenko Serhii Mykolaiovych – head of the mechanical department.
With the certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the following were awarded:
- Zotova Olena Mykolaivna – head of the Department of Professional Education;
- Kocherzhenko Olha Mykolaivna – methodist;
- Mykytenko Halyna Vasylivna – head of the Cycle Commission of Information Technologies;
- Reznikova Tetiana Heorhiivna – head of the operational department.
Citations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine were awarded to:
- Berezkina Olena Oleksandrivna – teacher of physical education;
- Vysochyn Oksana Anatoliivna – practical psychologist;
- Volynets Valentyna Mykhailivna – teacher technical of mechanics;
- Dumenko Hanna Anatoliivna – head of the Cyclic Commission for Oil and Gas Deposits Exploration;
- Zhabskyi Serhii Mykolaiovych – head of the Cyclical Commission for Oil and Gas Engineering and Technologies;
- Kitura Oksana Viktorivna – teacher of economics;
- Myronenko Valentyna Mykolaivna – methodologist of the Department of Professional Education;
- Revutska Nataliia Mykolaivna – teacher of mathematics;
- Rudenko Sofiia Ivanivna – deputy director for educational work;
- Strihina Olena Oleksandrivna – head of the library.
