During the lockdown, Poltava Oil and Gas College of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, just like all the educational institutions, is operating in distanced mode. Taking into account the special conditions now, the college staff expressed the wish to contribute to the charitable initiative and support the decision of the university to produce faceshields using the new design of the Department of Architecture and Town Planning.
“We were glad to join the initiative of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and we started to print the protective faceshields at the 3D-printer at Poltava Oil and Gas College. We are thankful to our colleagues for sharing their design with us,” - Liubov Shumska, Director of Poltava Oil and Gas College.
The original improved design of the faceshield was developed by the members of the Department of Architecture and Town Planning of Poltava Polytechnic - Assistant Professor Andrii Koniuk and Associate Professor Kostiantyn Trehubov. The multi-layered faceshields can be disinfected and reused.
Deputy Director of Poltava Oil and Gas College Ivan Badula, the Head of the Department of Mechanics Serhii Kuzmenko and the Head of Cycle Commission of Mechanic Subjects Serhii Nos participate in the production process. The printing is performed at the 3D printer given to the college by Factorial-K Company this academic year.
