Information resource “Osvita.Ua” published a list of the 100 most popular higher education institutions in Ukraine by the number of applications from applicants. The ranking includes all applications from entrants to study for bachelor’s and master’s qualification levels based on complete general secondary education in all forms of education as of August 1, 2023.
In the top 100 most popular among entrants higher education institutions, Poltava Polytechnic took 32nd place and became the most popular Poltava university among entrants, the leader of the admission campaign. The Admission Committee received almost 5,500 electronic applications based on complete general secondary education and more than 700 based on the educational degree “junior specialist”/”specialist junior bachelor”.

In total, more than 1 million 140 thousand applications from entrants were submitted to higher education institutions, including 720 792 applications submitted by applicants who enter on the basis of complete general secondary education (11 classes) to obtain bachelor’s and medical master’s levels in all forms of education.
Two Lviv higher education institutions are the leaders in terms of the number of applications from applicants who enter on the basis of a complete general secondary education: Lviv Polytechnic National University and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The following three places were taken by the capital universities: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, National Aviation University.
It should be recalled that an important stage of the admission campaign has begun at the Poltava Polytechnic – the submission of electronic applications for admission to the master’s program based on bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s diplomas has started.
Earlier, Poltava Polytechnic confirmed its leadership among higher education institutions of the Poltava region, taking first place among the universities of the region according to the consolidated ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine in 2023.
