It should be recalled that National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", represented by the rector, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and JSC "UkrTransNafta" in the person of the General Director Volodymyr Tsependa, signed a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of high-quality practical training of oil and gas specialists and the formation of powerful personnel potential of leading oil and gas companies. The parties are already successfully implementing the partnership established on paper, exchanging practical cases of fruitful cooperation during business trips.
As part of the working visit and with the aim of establishing cooperation with a leading Ukrainian company, a delegation of Poltava Polytechnic representatives, which included: the Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Olena Stepova, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas, Doctor of Technical Sciences Bohdan Korobko, Director of the Oil and Gas Training and Production Center Petro Holub, Head of the Department of Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Doctor of Technical Sciences Oleksandr Shefer and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Drilling and Geology Maksym Kharchenko, visited the working locations of JSC "UkrTransNafta".
Scientists and practitioners discussed the priority areas of further partnership, focusing on consolidating efforts around strengthening the company's human resources with competitive graduates trained by the innovative, practice-oriented National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic". Representatives of Poltava Polytechnic also visited the key locations of the station and familiarized themselves with the high-tech equipment used in the transportation of petroleum products.
It should be noted that the successful implementation of the Memorandum involves partnership in the following areas:
- organization of training courses and professional development trainings for top management as well as engineering and technical workers according to author's programs;
- training of the company's personnel according to educational programs of the second (master's) and third (doctor of philosophy) educational and scientific levels;
- training and retraining of personnel in working professions;
- scientific support of production activities.
"Filling the content of the signed Memoranda on scientific and educational cooperation with leading oil and gas as well as oil and gas service companies with implemented practical cases gives our university the opportunity to constantly stay abreast of the latest trends in the development of the oil and gas industry and to be "on the same wavelength" with representatives of the oil and gas complex of Ukraine.
