The masters of the Poltava Polytechnic canteen prepared several hundred Easter paskas (i.e. Easter cakes), which the university staff handed over to the defenders in the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the volunteer headquarters, where students work tirelessly.
Archbishop Fedir of Poltava and Kremenchuk emphasized Christian values, support of Ukrainian traditions, said a prayer and consecrated Easter paskas for the defenders.
“Thank you for consecrating the Easter breads – these paskas, which were carefully prepared in our dining room. We send their warmth and added grace to the defenders in the ranks of the Armed Forces through the military registration and enlistment office as well as through our Kharkiv friends – let them enjoy paskas and give them health. Thanks to the defenders and everyone who desperately resists the invaders, we will be able to celebrate Easter and ask God for the most important thing – Victory and Peace,” – thanked Rector of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
In a separate structural subdivision – Poltava College of Oil and Gas of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” there were also baked about half a thousand paskas – for territorial defense members and for IDPs living in the dorm. On the eve of Easter, college lecturers organized a series of master classes in which families of migrants with children learned to make a sweet decor “Willow twig”, paint Easter eggs and decorate paskas for gifts for the territorial defense forces of Poltava.
