The annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions based on data from the Scopus scientific-metric database has been published on the Osvita.ua website. According to the ranking, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" took 48th position among the universities of Ukraine out of more than two hundred Ukrainian institutions of higher education. Compared to last year, the university has moved up 12 positions higher in the all-Ukrainian ranking and is among the TOP-50 best universities in terms of scientific activity.
National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" is a leader among Poltava institutions of higher education in terms of scientific activity. Poltava State Agrarian Academy is in the 109th position, Poltava University of Economics and Trade took the 139th position, and Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University poses the 153rd position.

This not only confirms the undeniable leadership of our university in the field of higher education but also proves the prestige of education in Ukraine.

The ranking was compiled based on the results of scientific-metric monitoring of subjects of scientific and publishing activity in Ukraine according to the figures of the SciVerse Scopus database in April 2023. The results of the ranking are based on the citation rates of scientific articles published by educational institutions or their specialists.
The Scopus database constantly indexes more than 20,000 scientific publications in technical, medical and humanitarian sciences. This database also includes publications in scientific journals, materials from conferences and book publications.
It should be recalled that for the third year in a row Poltava Polytechnic is a leader among higher education institutions of the Poltava region in the Webometrics 2023 ranking.
