According to the results of the annual ranking of the best European universities QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” has been a leader for the second year in a row, becoming the only university of the Poltava region to be included in this ranking and to keep the level of the best European universities.
The overall ranking includes 684 universities from 42 member countries of the Council of Europe. Only 36(!) higher education institutions from Ukraine, representing 18 regions of our country, were included in the ranking.
Poltava Polytechnic took the 28th position among Ukrainian higher education institutions represented in the European ranking, the 103rd position in the Eastern European group, and the 601+ group in the general ranking of universities from the Council of Europe member countries.
The leading positions of Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic in prestigious international rankings confirm the high status of the university at the European level. This is the result of the tremendous work of the Poltava Polytechnic team, as QS World University Rankings is one of the most authoritative rankings in the field of education. It takes into account a number of key indicators: academic reputation, reputation among employers, number of citations of scientific articles, student to teacher ratio, ratio of international teachers, and results of academic mobility programmes.

Earlier, in the consolidated ranking of Ukrainian HEIs 2024, Poltava Polytechnic was recognised as the best higher education institution of the Poltava region, and according to the results of Scimago Institutions Rankings 2024, Poltava Polytechnic is a leader among the universities of Poltava.
