On July 31, 2023, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" finished accepting applications for bachelor’s degree based on a certificate of complete general secondary education, diplomas of junior specialist and professional junior bachelor.
It is worth noting that this year's successful admission campaign was the result of the synergy of teamwork of the academic staff in presenting the university's wide opportunities, creating comfortable conditions for applicants to visit key university locations and the openness of the university in the modern information space.
Statistically speaking, as of July 31, 2023, National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic":
- ranks 30th out of more than 250 institutions of higher education in Ukraine by the number of submitted applications (bachelor's degree based on complete general secondary education);
- the Admission Committee received 5,497 electronic applications based on complete general secondary education;
- the Admission Committee received 709 electronic applications based on the educational degree "junior specialist" / "professional junior bachelor";
- 1,442 applications were submitted for university’s educational programs with first priority;
- among those wishing to obtain a higher education at the Poltava Polytechnic, one applicant has 200 points in two NMT subjects and 4 people have 200 points in one NMT subject;
- in certain specialties, the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" is a leader in terms of applications submitted by applicants. Among the most popular specialties of the university, which are included in the TOP-20 among higher education institutions of Ukraine are Computer Science; Management; Oil and Gas Engineering and Technologies; Therapy and Rehabilitation;
- the largest number of applications came from graduates of general secondary education institutions of the city of Poltava: Municipal Institution "Poltava secondary school of I-III degrees No. 26 (89 applications), Municipal Institution "Poltava secondary school of I-III degrees No. 38 (65 applications), Lyceum No. 17 "Intellect" (63 applications ), Lyceum No. 13 "Success" (63 applications); Lyceum No. 31 (63 applications); Municipal Institution "Poltava secondary school of I-III degrees No. 29 (60 applications); Lyceum No. 32 "European" (60 applications); Poltava city multidisciplinary lyceum No. 1 named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky (57 applications); Municipal Institution "Poltava secondary school of I-III degrees No. 9 (56 applications); Lyceum No. 33 (55 applications); Municipal Institution "Poltava secondary school of I-III degrees No. 34 (53 applications); Municipal Institution "Poltava secondary school of I-III degrees No. 19 (50 applications).
- among the applicants who applied to Poltava Polytechnic, there are residents of 21 regions of Ukraine. The largest number of applicants came from Kharkiv (337 applications), Sumy (125 applications), Donetsk (73 applications), Dnipropetrovsk (70 applications), Chernihiv (40 applications), Kirovohrad (35 applications) and Cherkasy (35 applications) regions.

It should be recalled that the university has a counseling center for applicants. The center’s specialists help applicants create a personal electronic account, explain the procedure for submitting documents and the features of admission to various specialties.
Acceptance of applications for state-funded and contractual forms of education for the master's degree will continue until August 21, 2023.
