Poltava Polytechnic team becomes the gold medallist of the All-Ukrainian competition among academic workers of the HEI in the billiard sport “Dynamic Pyramid – Solo” – the Siniakevich Cup

On June 15-17, the All-Ukrainian competition among scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions in the billiard sport “Dynamic pyramid – Solo” – the Siniakevich Cup – was held in the billiard club “Billiards Club” (Svitlovodsk). The large-scale sports tournament had a charitable goal – a voluntary fundraiser to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The team of academic staff of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was represented at the competition by the Honoured Master of Sports of Ukraine in sports billiards, the head of the Separate subdivision “Sports Billiards Federation of Ukraine in the Poltava Region”, the teacher of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Poltava Polytechnic Anastasiia Kovalenko, senior teacher of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the university Tetiana Yopa, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing Andrii Skrylnyk, specialist of the Department of Choreography and Sports dances Mkrtich Akopian and teacher of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Andrii Chermenskyi.

According to the results of the tournament, Poltava Polytechnic took first place in the overall team standings, and in the ranking for 2023 among higher education institutions of Ukraine – the first overall team place.

In the individual championship, Honoured Master of Sports of Ukraine in sports billiards, teacher of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Poltava Polytechnic, Anastasiia Kovalenko became the gold medallist of the competition.

It should be recalled that earlier the Poltava Polytechnic team became the silver medallist of the Cup of Ukraine among the scientific and pedagogical representatives of higher education institutions in billiards “Free Pyramid”.

Recently, Poltava Polytechnic team became the gold medallist of the 18th Universiade of Poltava region in kettlebell sports, and became the champion of the 18th Universiade of Poltava region in beach soccer among men.
