The head of the subcommittee on higher education of the Committee on Education, Science and Innovation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yuliia Hryshyna, was approached by representatives of Ukrainian students’ self-government organizations with a proposal to create an advisory body under the head of the subcommittee, which will become a communication platform for all Ukrainian students and contribute to the solution actual problems.
On April 3, the process of formation of the Student Expert Council of higher education institutions started.
“I believe that the Student Expert Council of Higher Education Institutions, the provisions of which we signed, will be a step in the future of Ukrainian higher education. Boys and girls are ambitious, caring and creative. It is up to them to build a new Ukraine,” – commented People’s Deputy Yuliia Hryshyna.
Representatives of student governments, representatives of public associations, and active students are invited to participate.
This provides a unique opportunity to directly participate in the law-making process, to have an effective mechanism of student communication with the authorities, and to create the future of our state as a centre of modern, high-quality, European higher education.

It should be recalled that last year during the visit as part of the parliamentary delegation, the head of the subcommittee on higher education, People's Deputy Yuliia Hryshina visited the Poltava Polytechnic and got acquainted with the modern material and technical base of the university.
