From 9 to 12 September, 2024, the Beach Soccer Cup of Ukraine among women’s teams of higher education institutions was held at the “Hydropark Arena” in Kyiv. The all-Ukrainian sporting event, organised by the Ukrainian Association of School and University Football, was held with the full support and assistance of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
For the second year in a row, the team of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” took the top step of the podium and won the Gold Cup of Ukraine in Beach Soccer among women’s teams of higher education institutions, demonstrating high sports skills, excellent physical fitness and well-coordinated team play on the field. The athletes of Poltava Polytechnic became the best, defeating the women’s team of Sumy State University with a score of 8:2 in a tense match.
Poltava Polytechnic was represented at the Beach Soccer Cup of Ukraine among women’s teams of higher education institutions by:

- Yuliia Perederii, student of group 301-FS, Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports;
- Anhelina Fedorenko, student of group 301-FR, Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports;
- Tamila Turchak, student of group 303-FS, Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports;
- Dinara Shtanko, student of group 303-TN, Educational and Research Institute of Information Technology and Robotics.

It should be recalled that earlier, the volleyball team of Poltava Polytechnic won the Open Cup of Poltava, the picked team of Poltava Polytechnic became the silver medalist of the XXII Football Championship of Ukraine among higher education institutions, and the team of Poltava Polytechnic’s academic staff in sports billiards was recognised as the best among Ukrainian higher education institutions for the second time.
Earlier, Master student of Polytechnic Kateryna Petrenko became a world champion in Dragon Boat Rowing.
