Not so long ago, our company cooperated with the university in the construction field, thermal modernization. Now we see what design they developed for the medical workers. The faceshields are light, simple in design and so necessary for us. We asked the Rector - Volodymyr Onyshchenko - for help, and he reacted very quickly. Today, the university representatives, particularly one of the developers, gave us the protective faceshields. We are happy and thankful for it,” Viktor Lebediev, the Head of the Veteran Council of UMSA, from the Department of Disaster Medicine and Military Medicine, and Oleksandr Proskurin, trauma orthopedist, the Deputy Director of Poltava Prosthetic Company for medical work thanked the university.

“People from all over Ukraine travel to us. Large numbers of people get prosthetics here. But we don’t know whether a person has been checked or whether they are infected. Those are all risks. That’s why personal protection means are necessary, and first of all it should be comfortable. The university design is a lot better than others, provided by different producers. We are very thankful for your help,” Liubov Kushko, the Head Nurse of the In-Patient Hospital of Prosthetics said.

Yevhenii Usovchykov, Physical Therapy Doctor, added, “People with artificial limbs need special care now. They cannot stay home during the lockdown for a long time. Our team also needs protection, because we work directly with the patients.”

The company workers showed the representatives of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” the production facilities, the in-patient hospital conditions, the peculiarities of technological processes and the base for the rehabilitation of people with different conditions.
