On April 4, 2023, it was 4 years that the partners of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" – the Court Security Service is / stands on the guard of justice.
On the occasion of the holiday, the Rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko, together with the head of the Territorial Administration of Ukraine's State Judicial Administration in the Poltava Region Oleksandr Dziubenko and the Deputy Head of Poltava Court of Appeal Oleksandr Cherkas visited the Territorial Administration of the Court Security Service in the Poltava Region and congratulated the management of the institution as well as all personnel on the professional holiday.
At the beginning of the event, all those present performed the National Anthem of Ukraine and honored the memory of all fallen heroes of Ukraine, among whom, unfortunately, are court security guards and graduates of the Poltava Polytechnic.
"It would seem that this is a fairly young service, but Ukrainian legal and security traditions go back to the Cossack era, so it is not for nothing that the emblem of the Service depicts the emblems of the judiciary and its protection during the times of the Zaporozhian Lowland Army and the Cossack state of Bohdan Khmelnytsky – the silver twisted cane of the judge of the Cossack era, superimposed on silver crossed berdyshes [type of cold weapon; battle ax with a very wide blade (40–100 cm) in the shape of a crescent, of various curvatures, on a long shaft – T/N]. In 2019, in the history of independent Ukraine, the guards of Themis received their official "birthday" as the Service was created on April 4, 2019.
The Themis guards work under the motto "Your safety is our job!". In the conditions of the war with the terrorist state, court security guards not only perform tasks according to their assignment, but also go to the front, and also make efforts to ensure that the civilians in the rear not only feel safe but also acquire vital skills.
I am proud that our joint grandiose project "Profession by Vocation, not by Stereotype" is being successfully implemented and we have created the first Gender Center in the Poltava region. We are working together to apply a systemic approach to the implementation of the state policy of ensuring gender equality and the consolidation of the executive authorities’ actions, local self-government bodies, civil society institutions, business entities to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men in all spheres of life in society, in particular in overcoming the consequences of a full-scale war.

The employees of the Territorial Department of the Court Security Service in the Poltava Region were awarded citations of the rector of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" for their initiative, patriotism, devotion to the chosen cause in the conditions of war and personal contribution to the development of educational and scientific cooperation. Among them are:
- Anatolii Chernov – lieutenant colonel of the Court Security Service, head of the Service for Professional Training and Advanced Training;
- Hevorh Hevorhian – captain of the Court Security Service, deputy commander of the unit, certified trainer in gender, pre-medical assistance and fire training;
- Kateryna Hryhorenko – senior lieutenant of the Court Security Service, leading specialist of the Human Resources Department, press secretary of the Territorial Department of the Court Security Service in the Poltava region, member of the Board of Trustees of the Gender Center of the Poltava Polytechnic, certified gender trainer;
- Anatolii Sverdlov – controller of the 1st category (engineer of information and telecommunication systems) of the economic platoon of the TA of the CSS in the Poltava region.
Head of the Territorial Department of the Court Security Service in the Poltava Region Oleksandr Alenin was awarded the Honorable Certificate of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" for his significant personal contribution to the development of cooperation between TA CSS and Poltava Polytechnic, successful implementation of joint projects, patriotism, and devotion to the chosen cause in wartime conditions.
The guests and court guards expressed confidence that the Ukrainian Victory is coming soon, but its price will always be unforgettable.
It should be recalled that the first Gender Center in the Poltava Region was presented at the Poltava Polytechnic.
Earlier, court security guards and police officers conducted training on first aid and safety basics at the Polytechnic and opened a temporary training space at the university for improving weapon skills – a multimedia interactive shooting gallery.
