According to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1538 of December 9, 2020, 96 students of Ukrainian higher education institutions of III-IV accreditation levels are awarded the academic scholarship for special achievements in studying and science. The list of scholarship receivers includes student of group 401HZ of Faculty of Sports, National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Viktoriia Dabeka.
Student of the specialization No. 227 “Physiotherapy and Ergotherapy” is a bright example of successful combination of studying and sports. Viktoriia Dabeka plays in the volleyball club “Poltavchanka-PNPU” and dreams about a sport career. She plans to help the team ensure their place in high divisions and demonstrate decent play during large-scale sport competitions, so she has a lot of work for self-development and sport skills.
“The sport season of 2019-2020 was emotionally and physically stressful, I wanted to manage everything. I always come up with ambitious goals and work for the best results, because I understand that my professional growth depends on them,” the student commented.

The candidates for the academic scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine are firstly approved by the student self-government and then considered by the Academic Board of the university. And then they are submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The decision is implemented within the state youth policy, dedicated to creating favorable conditions for improving the life level and motivating student for better results.
Throughout the year, students of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” have been awarded by the scholarships of Poltava City Council, Poltava Oblast State Administration, the Heavenly Hundred award, the scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine. Students of our university often become winners of scientific and creative awards, all-Ukrainian and international competitions.
