Polytechnic students and scientists receive free access to the EBSCOhost platform

National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" invites lecturers, students and staff to use the free access provided by the university to the interactive reference and bibliographic system EBSCOhost. The deadline is December 31, 2021.

Polytechnic students and scientists receive free access to the EBSCOhost platform

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and representatives of EBSCO held a number of working meetings and reached certain agreements. Namely, students and lecturers of leading Ukrainian universities, employees of scientific institutions, state organizations were given a unique opportunity to join the research platform EBSCOhost – an interactive reference and bibliographic system consisting of various full-text and abstract databases from leading information providers. Information resources have a wide thematic coverage: from business and humanities to medicine and ecology. The EBSCO database collection meets the research needs of users in universities, health care facilities, business corporations, government agencies and libraries.

National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" has received free access to the EBSCO database and invites everyone to use the service for high-quality scientific and research activities. The deadline is December 31, 2021.

Access to EBSCO databases is provided through a search interface on the EBSCOhost platform at the IP address of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" without entering a login and password:

Detailed information on setting up free test access to EBSCO databases is available on the website of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine.

In addition, EBSCO Information Services will hold a series of webinars for Ukrainian scientists. Participants will find out about the available resources of the EBSCO platform, learn how to search for the information necessary, quote articles, store them in a Google Drive account, export metadata to Zotero or Mendeley, and what are the benefits of using a My EBSCOhost account.
