Polytechnic Students’ Research About Adverse Effects On Soil Brings To A Win At All-Ukrainian Competition

The students of Education and Research Institute of Oil and Gas (ERIOG) Anastasia Lysiak and Viktoria Vdovychenko, who presented the results of their research on the adverse effect of cars on soil, became winners at the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Motor Vehicle Transport.

57 participants from 27 Ukrainian higher education institutions took part in the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Motor Vehicle Transport.

On April 17, 2020, the organization committee of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Motor Vehicle Transport (Ecological Safety of Cars in the Environment) in 2019/2020 which was held at Kharkiv National Highway University announced the results of the contest.

The research of Anastasia Lysiak (group 501mSE) and Viktoria Vdovychenko (group 301SE), students of ERIOG of Yuri Kondratyuk National University, called “The research on the effect of used motor vehicle oil filter on the soil” won and the authors were awarded third-grade diplomas.

“The article analyzes the main factors of used oil filters adversely affecting Ukrainian soils. The research covers unique ecological problems, and we are going to continue working on it,” the academic advisor, PhD in Technology, Assistant Professor at the Department of Practical Ecology and Nature Management Olena Hanoshenko said.
