In accordance with the Provision on the Volodymyr Vernadskyi Award of Poltava Oblast Council that honors the worldwide famous Ukrainian scientist, philosopher, and the founder of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is awarded in order to promote the development of national science and support local talented scientists. The award is given to the academic staff and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions, employees of scientific establishments and enterprises of Poltava region, who have considerable achievements in academic and research activity, specialists training and holding researches.
At the meeting of the jury of the Volodymyr Vernadskyi Award of Poltava Oblast Council, the representatives of the competition committee discussed the candidates’ scientific works and chose the best ones in the following nominations: “Academic activity at higher education institutions of I-II accreditation levels”, “Academic activity at higher education institutions of III-IV accreditation levels”, and “Scientific activity at enterprises, establishments and organizations”.
Techer of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Doctor of Engineering, Professor of Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology Department Yurii Vynnykov was chosen the winner in the nomination “Academic activity at higher education institutions of III-IV accreditation levels”.
The winners in each nomination are awarded five thousand hryvnias.
The awarding ceremony will be held at Poltava Oblast Council on March, 12, on Volodymyr Vernadskyi’s birthday.
