The academic staff of Psychology and Pedagogy Department with the lead of Svitlana Yalanska (Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Deputy Head of Psychology and Pedagogy Department) held a joined meeting seminar with practicing psychologists, social workers and scientists of leading Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The event was moderated by Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Deputy Head of Psychology and Pedagogy Department Svitlana Yalanska. She mentioned that the university’s reputation is based on the creative and initiative work, the corporate culture, and the atmosphere of mutual respect and help.
“Our university is a powerful scientific and educational center at the international and all-Ukrainian levels. Thousands of thankful graduates well-known in Ukraine and abroad started their way at this educational institution. The growth of innovative and scientific potential of the university and its dynamic development is inseparable from the work of Rector, Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko. It is his creative approach to problem solving of different levels and strategic thinking that allow our university to participate in the reform of the higher education and the movement towards the foals of state development,” the scientist emphasized.
During the event, the academicians and workers of the Department presented the main fields of activity and scientific interests of their structural subdivision, and overlooked the prospects of scientific and educational cooperation with secondary education institutions of Poltava and the region. The teachers spoke about the wide opportunities opened for the graduates of our university, and the stakeholders from Poltava and Vinnytsia region shared their practical experiences in psychology and preschool education.
