“May spring come already... And it has come! We have withstood and are facing a new spring of war, but we really want the next one to be the Spring of Victory.

To bring the Victory closer, the first day of spring at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” was greeted with excitement – the band “BEZ OBMEZHEN” held a charity concert at the university in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!

Every performance of the band is a crazy flow of energy and emotions, which get the audience worked up from the first chord and does not let go until the very end. Today it was my gift to the indomitable team, students and friends of the university!

“BEZ OBMEZHEN” is loved for its quality Ukrainian music, frankness and civic attitude. From the first days of the war, the boys have been volunteering and giving concerts in front of soldiers as well as residents of cities liberated from occupation. In this, we are on the same page with them!

“Free People” is a manifesto of strong, independent and free-spirited people. Free people are not only about people living in an independent territory, but also about individuals who have inner freedom and know how to be themselves.

Creative works of “BEZ OBMEZHEN” is the personification of the worldview of Ukrainians – brave, sensual and indomitable. The will beats in their music, the glory of Ukraine spreads with their songs!

It is important that our emotions are converted into a contribution to cars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine!

Poltava Polytechnic became a unique venue for the performance of the band “BEZ OBMEZHEN”! We are free people, together to Victory!

Glory to Ukraine!” – commented Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.

Adviser to the rector of the university on youth policy Ivan Ksenzhuk introducing the band, noted that the main stage of the Poltava Polytechnic remains a powerful platform for large-scale social, youth, cultural and artistic events; as well as direct communication with art, even in difficult times of a full-scale invasion, is necessary to find we have the strength to develop, move forward and, after the Victory, actively build our independent European state.

“I would like to thank our good friends for the opportunity to touch their creativity, let go of moral tension, relax and enjoy our native Ukrainian language. Your music carries deep meanings, a deep cultural background, because, living in difficult times, we must confidently hold our own informational and cultural front and actively resist the enemy culture.

I convey personal greetings from the rector of our university, Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Onyshchenko, who, being on a business trip, mentally joins our artistic evening and believes that soon the rock band “BEZ OBMEZHEN” will perform its mega-famous compositions on the main stage of the country, congratulating our common Victory. On behalf of everyone present, I express my sincere gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the fact that we can gather, listen to good music, chat, and be inspired for another heroic spring. We will stand, we cannot be defeated! Glory to Ukraine!” – said Ivan Ksenzhuk.

The audience greeted the band’s appearance on the stage with an explosion of applause, radiating a willingness to share the evening with their favourite artists. Frontman Serhii Tanchynets talked about the big tour of Ukrainian cities, within which the band's musicians are currently travelling, as well as the deep philosophical meanings embedded in their work.

“The name “BEZ OBMEZHEN” (“Without Limits”) justifies itself – the band actively travels around the native country, the world, to meet people, to give a positive mood, having faith that everything will definitely be fine. We are glad that by simply doing a good thing we love, we can join in raising funds to support our Armed Forces. All our concerts are for charity. We are open to cooperation, and when we had the opportunity to visit your university as part of the tour, we gladly took the opportunity to see your shining, joyful, intelligent eyes. I am convinced that we have many more such meetings ahead of us,” – commented the band leader. – “It’s cool when the university and your rector hold meetings like this not only with the band “BEZ OBMEZHEN” but also with other popular artists who are Ukrainian in meaning, in spirit, and in the content of their creativity. Thanks for inviting us, do it every semester. If our culture continues to develop dynamically, without losing what was acquired by our predecessors, then we can be calm about the fate of our country. I was glad to be at the Poltava Polytechnic today. Thank you for being here now, next to us, you are incredible!”

In memory of the meeting, Serhii Tanchynets left an autograph with a review in the Book of Honoured Guests.

The concert began with the song “Free People” – one of the band’s hallmarks. According to the leader of the band, this song is about everyone who works, fights and helps to fight, and of course about all of us, Ukrainians who live in this country, perceive this reality, resist the aggressor who threatens our nation.

The audience gave thunderous applause to the performers, whose work is imbued with love for Ukrainian. The most active spectators sang along and danced in the light of bright soffits.

During the charity concert, the hits that collected millions of listens were played: “No way without her”, “November”, “The stars lit”, “Who am I”, “Don’t be silent”, “My country”, “Drowning”, “I will be with you” and others, while the audience carried out flash mob with flashlights and tried to preserve vivid memories in their gadgets – streamed, recorded and photographed.

In the musicians’ repertoire, there is a whole section devoted to courageous and indomitable defenders, to important events in the history of Ukraine’s independence. During the charity concert, the band presented the premiere of the song “Come Back Alive”. The national blue-yellow flag on the stage and in the hands of fans reinforced the symbolic performance of these songs.

“It seems to us that we really need an emotional swing, since we have been living in a state of extreme stress for at least a year. And we want to break out of these emotions by performing contrasting songs. We want to remember and appreciate the emotion of love and always keep a place in our hearts for it. I am absolutely convinced that it is the feeling of love, falling in love that makes us human, not only that, it moves us forward, realizing our dreams.

The song “Heroes” was written back in 2014, now we can confidently dedicate this song to a huge number of people – servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, employees of the State Emergency Service, energy workers, military and civilian doctors, as well as teachers and professors who continue teach children, despite the circumstances. And children, students are the future of this country. That’s why we really want to thank the teachers and professors – they really are the heroes of the modern Ukrainian state,” – emphasized Serhii Tanchynets.

Fans noted the incredibly deep energy, positive charge and personal charisma of the performers, and frontman Serhii Tanchynets delighted the little fans with selfies. For the encore, “BEZ OBMEZHEN” presented several more hits, to which the whole hall dissolved into an emotional vortex.
