Scientific Achievements and the Experience of Famous Psychologists Are Discussed on the National Day of Psychologists

On April 23, Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic held the meeting of the Psychology and Pedagogy Subpanel, where interesting scientific achievements on the education system, psychological studies and positive motivations were presented by the students and teachers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the University.

The subpanel meeting was held within the 72nd Scientific Conference of Professors, Teachers, Academic Staff, Post-Graduates and Students of the University, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.

More than 70 participants joined the Zoom conference. Among them there were the academic staff, students, Master students of the Faculty of Sports and the Faculty of Humanities of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. The subpanel was also joined by Yuliia Chursa, the Director of the Department of Research, PhD in Technology; Nataliia Beseda, the Dean of the Faculty of Sports, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor; Tetiana Horoshko, the Head of the Center of Practical Psychology and Social Work. The event was moderated by the Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Doctor of Psychology, Professor Svitlana Yalanska.

“Now we have a great possibility to exchange experience and our own scientific achievements. Practical psychologists, teachers, scientists and everyone interested in the problems of psychology are welcome to participate in the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference “Psychological and Pedagogical Ways of Personality Development” which will be held at National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”,” Svitlana Yalanska said.

“I wish you everlasting energy supply, inspiration, continuous self-development, new professional and scientific achievements. The psychologists of our university contribute greatly to the scientific and educational potential of the university team, and I am sincerely happy for your successes. I hope to have more fruitful results in our work, which sometimes can be hard, but is still interesting,” Nataliia Beseda, the Dean of the Faculty of Sports, congratulated the participants.

The participants of the subpanel presented a great number of scientific articles, such as:

  • “The Psychological Peculiarities of Motivation to Study for Students of Higher Education Institutions” (by Y. Kyrychok, student of group 301PDZ; academic advisor is Svitlana Yalanska, Doctor of Psychology, Professor);
  • “The Influence of Online Resources on the Quality of Education of Higher Education Institution Students” (by A. Yaryhina, student of group 101HD; academic advisor is Nina Atamanchuk, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor);
  • “Applying Existential Psychotherapeutic Methods in the Consulting and Terapeutic Practice of Ergotherapist” (by M. Fursova, student of group 201HZ; academic advisor is Nina Atamanchuk);
  • “Psychological Aspects of Online Education For the Students of Higher Education Institutions” (by O. Trushkina, student of group 502HS; academic advisor is Yurii Horbenko, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor);
  • “Studying Pedagogy in Poltava Institute for Noble Maidens” (by A. Bondarenko, student of group 201HS; academic advisor is Lesia Klevaka);
  • “The Requirements of Professional and Personal Characteristics for a Teacher of Poltava Institute for Noble Maidens” (by S. Dmytriuk, student of group 201HF; academic advisor is Lesia Klevaka).

The Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” has a psychological studio “The Way to Success” which covers various topics at its meetings, interesting for youth, students, and the academic staff. The participants organized a challenge called “Positive Motivators” during one of the online meetings of the psychological studio to celebrate the National Day of Psychologists.

“In spite of the lockdown limitations, and although the real life meetings are impossible, the subpanel meeting has brought the attendees together thanks to its relaxed academic communication. We are thankful to all the participants for their informative presentations and fruitful work,” said Svitlana Yalanska, PhD in Psychology, Professor, the Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”.
