On December 9, the XІV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Academic and University Science: Results and Prospects” took place at the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, at which academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and scientists of leading Ukrainian universities discussed the problems of development of modern academic and university science, exchanged scientific experiences and deliberated on the strategy of further scientific and educational cooperation. The co-organizer of this large-scale scientific event was the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, with which Poltava Polytechnic in April this year has signed a cooperation agreement on education and science. Poltava and Chernihiv educators implement joint projects of academic mobility of students and lecturers of partner universities.
During the plenary session of the conference, Mykola Korzachenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the Center for Retraining and Distance Learning of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, made a report “Innovative research technologies and methods of preserving the historical heritage of Chernihiv region”. After the report he presented the award to Poltava Polytechnic Scientist – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Drilling and Geology of the Educational and Research Institute of Oil and Gas of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. Yuri Vynnykov was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. Mykola Korzachenko praised his colleague’s significant personal contribution to the development of joint research projects.
“Dear Yurii Leonidovych, without your support, consultations and useful advice, it is impossible to imagine our fruitful cooperation! Engaged in research in the field of civil engineering and restoration of the historical heritage of Chernihiv, I take as an example your honesty, diligence and assiduity in work. I wish you good health, inspiration and further scientific achievements!” – wished the scientist.
Doctor of Economics, Professor, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, Rector of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Volodymyr Onyshchenko, scientists of Poltava Polytechnic and a delegation of Chernihiv scientists led by Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, Rector of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University Oleh Novomlynets congratulated the scientist on being awarded the honorary title.
It should be recalled that Yurii Vynnykov was awarded with the decoration “Scientist of the Year”.
