During October 18-31 within the framework of cooperation between the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” and the largest national hotel and restaurant chain Reikartz, scientist of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law of Poltava Polytechnic – Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics, Management and Law, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism Iryna Chernysh; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism Nadiia Bakalo; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism Viktoriia Makhovka; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations and Tourism Anastasiia Bilousova and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Alla Hliebova took advanced training courses “Level Up with Reikartz”. Lecturers of Poltava Polytechnic passed two-week professional development courses, improved their professional skills and received certificates of successful completion of study.
As part of the training program, leading experts and practitioners of the Reikartz Hotel Group shared their experience, successful professional cases on the organization of hotel activities and told about the basic work principles of modern hotel and restaurant chain, standards of reception and accommodation, restaurant business (check-up of restaurant work), organization of the housekeeping service and the main indicators of hotel efficiency.
The two-week professional development courses were conducted according to the program and included six online classes:
- “Work principles of modern hotel and restaurant chain” (Iryna Mahaletska, Head of Training Department of Reikartz Hotel Group);
- “Standards of the reception and accommodation service” (Yuliia Horokhova, specialist in training and adaptation);
- “Restaurant complex. Check-up of restaurant work”(Andrii Mahaletskyi, F&B Director of Reikartz Hotel Group);
- “Organization of housekeeping service” (Iryna Klub, specialist in training and adaptation);
- “Key indicators of the hotel performance efficiency” (Iryna Mahaletska, Head of Training Department of Reikartz Hotel Group).
Specialist in training and adaptation of the hotel and restaurant chain Reikartz Hotel Group Yuliia Horokhova made an interesting report “Standards of the reception and accommodation service”, in which she described the trends of the hotel business, modern personnel management systems, automation system “Servio” and ways to improve European service in hotel business. Listeners also mastered practical skills in the automation system “Servio”, which is actively used in the modern hospitality industry.
Scientists of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” will use gained practical knowledge and skills in their own professional activities and will share them with the student youth. Further plans are to strengthen partnerships with the largest national hotel and restaurant chain Reikartz and to extend cooperation in science and education.
