It is worth noting that the program is implemented within the framework of the agreement on scientific and educational cooperation signed in January 2023 between Poltava Polytechnic and Riga Institute of Transport and Telecommunication. The content of the signed agreement has already been successfully implemented – the Institute of Transport and Telecommunication invited six female students to study in the spring semester under the academic exchange program Erasmus+ KA 1, and they covered their transportation costs and provided grant support in the amount of 1,050 euros/month.

Upon arrival in Riga, the students were warmly welcomed by the head of the International Relations Department of the Institute of Transport and Telecommunication Azelika Smagina, and the coordinator of work with foreign students, Aleksandra Abraite. The participants of the exchange were given memorable gifts and accommodated in a comfortable student hotel 1Home, located across the street from the educational buildings, equipped with all amenities and free WiFi.

"Erasmus+ KA1 mobility programs are a great opportunity to study for free at a foreign partner university for one or more semesters, see a new country, get to know its culture, deepen knowledge of specialized subjects, improve communication skills and intercultural competencies.

We are firmly convinced that the acquired knowledge and practical skills gained will be able to be successfully used by future professionals when mastering the chosen profession at their home university," – said the coordinator of the program, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Germanic Philology and Translation of the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" Anna Pavelieva.
