Speaking Club: Students Welcome To Communication With Volunteers From Abroad

The Faculty of Humanities and its General Linguistics Department welcome all the students to the Language Cafe Speaking Club held every Thursday from 16:00 to 17:00. This year the club has a new speaker – student of the oldest Scottish university and one of the oldest British universities, University of St. Andrews – Alex Purcell.

“If you want to speak English fluently, chat with interesting people and pass your examinations in English, join our speaking club! We will see each other online. The links to every meeting will be sent to the monitor of your group and the dean offices of your faculty or institute,” the moderator of the meetings, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor of the General Linguistics and Foreign Languages Department, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Anna Ageicheva said.

On October, 14, the speaking club for international students will be held with Larry Raffety, a Peace Corps volunteer who has been cooperating with National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” for more than five years. The meetings will be held on Wednesdays.
