The sectional meeting was held within the 72nd Scientific Conference of Professors, Teachers, Academic Staff, Post-Graduates and Students of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the higher education institution.
Among invited guests were the director of IT Grand Ltd. Vitalii Blazhko, the leading specialist in renewable energy in Poltava region, Lumos Ukraine Ltd. Hennadii Polovykh. The specialists presented informative reports with the designs of the company, technological novelties in transport automation in production, and software and hardware designs of the company intended for the security sector of agricultural industry companies (Vitalii Blazhko in “The Automation of Transport Movement in Production. AGB Control”), as well as the achievements in constructing solar power stations (Hennadii Polovykh in “Better Investments in the Future. The Ecological and Economical Part of Solar Power Station Construction”). The highlight of the report was the automatic system to show online the operation rates of real solar power stations set in Poltava region.
The presentation of the student of Electrical Energetics, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics Vasyl Khaniukov called “The Automatic Control System of Farming Incubator Based on the Microcontroller Siemens LOGO 12/24 RCE” was chosen the best among the students’ reports.
“The research article describes an energy saving construction of farming incubator with the application of the gravity field energy which considerably lowers the power consumption. The automatic control system of microclimate for the incubator system was created with the multicircuit microcontroller Siemens LOGO 12/24 RCE, which provides reliable control and settings,” the student’s academic advisor, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor of the Department of Automatics, Electronics and Telecommunications Volodymyr Borshch commented.
The professional invention “Multiple-Frequency Band Antenna Based on the Four-Pole Spiral Antenna” (with academic advisor being PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Automatics, Electronics and Telecommunications Ihor Sliusar) was presented by the student of the specialization Telecommunications and Radio Technology Dmytro Teleshchun. The presentation included the mathematical model of the combined antenna and its various characteristics which allow to evaluate the peculiarities of the antenna.
