The second stage of the second round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in the specialization of Architecture and Town Planning took place on March 12-16, 2020, at Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

The winner’s academic advisor is PhD in Architecture, Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Town Planning Liudmyla Shevchenko.

Reuse of materials in architectural design is now a popular trend worldwide, concerning especially eco-friendly materials. It was the results of re-using materials around the world that motivated the student and his academic advisor to join this process from the scientific point of view.

By the way, the list of the top-ten best participants of this Competition includes one more research conducted with the advice of Liudmyla Shevchenko - “Architectural design with artistic and graphical means” by Viktoriia Pavlenko, a sixth-year student of the specialization No. 191 Architecture and Town Planning at Educational and Scientific Institute of Architecture and Construction.

Sincere congratulations to the winner and the academic advisor!
