From 3 to 8 July 2024, the European Dragon Boat Championships among adults, youth and juniors “15th EDBF European Nations Dragon Boat Championships 2024” took place in Račice (Czech Republic).
A student of group 501-FS of Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Kateryna Petrenko won gold and silver awards of the international sports tournament, having won 4 gold and 3 silver medals in the 200, 500 and 1000 metres:
- D22 mix 1000m – gold medal;
- D22 mix 500m – gold medal;
- D22 mix 200m – gold medal;
- D12 woman 200m – gold medal;
- D22 mix 2000m – silver medal;
- D12 woman 2000m – silver medal;
- D12 woman 500m – silver medal.
We sincerely congratulate the athlete on another victory in prestigious competitions! We are proud of her and wish her good health, significant personal achievements, and optimism in conquering sporting peaks!
It should be recalled that earlier the FPCS student won a full set of awards at the Ukrainian Dragon Boat Cup.
