The scientific-pedagogical staff of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation and students of the "Finance, Banking and Insurance" specialty produced a batch of trench candles in a few weeks. Everyone was invited to participate in the campaign. For making candles, they collected metal cans, cardboard and created products according to the technology.
"We help our defenders withstand the cold in the trenches. Students and teachers of our Department want to share a bit of warmth with our courageous soldiers, thanks to whom we teach and study in such a difficult time for Ukrainians. Everyone could join the campaign and make their contribution.
This batch, which was handed over to the Volunteer Headquarters, is 600 hours of heat. We plan to produce more.
If one wants, we can hold a master class on making a trench candle. We hold the educational front, we bring victory closer together!" – commented the head of the Department of Finance, Banking and Taxation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Liana Ptashchenko.
"Everyone contributes to the victory, and it is great that our students and teachers combine their main task – quality education, with excellent initiatives. This is a very useful thing for the front and we will send everything to the front line. Thank you for your concern!" – thanked the Polytechnic volunteers.
It should be recalled that in October, the "Brave Hryvnia" campaign was held at the university, and the cult band Probass&Hardi performed at a charity student party.
