Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” held the first city competition in e-sports Poltava Cyber Cup’20. The sport event was initiated by the charitable organization “Protecting the Future” and Head of the separated subdivisions of the All-Ukrainian Civic Organization “Student Sports Association of Ukraine” and the Civic Organization “Ukrainian Federation of Student Sports” in Poltava Oblast, Rector of our university, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko. Thanks to the well-developed sports infrastructure, Poltava Polytechnic once again became a large-scale ground for holding regional and all-Ukrainian competitions.
The participants of the e-sports section DevilMariRose won the competition in the discipline CS:GO. The players were congratulated by Head of the separated subdivisions of the All-Ukrainian Civic Organization “Student Sports Association of Ukraine” and the Civic Organization “Ukrainian Federation of Student Sports” in Poltava Oblast, Rector of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko and founder of the Charitable Organization “Protecting the Future”, Organizer of the Competition Yevhen Shcherbakov.
“During the lockdown, e-sports are becoming more and more popular, so I am really happy that the students of our university actively join their popularization in Poltava region. I am thankful for your aspiration for victory, personal and professional growth, considerable contribution to the support of a positive image of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic". Your victory is a great present to the 90th anniversary of Poltava Polytechnic, I wish you inspiration, optimism and new bright achievements! Rector of our university, Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko said.

Having watched the games, I can say for sure that the victory was won in fair and open competition. We will continue developing this idea and holding such competition will become yet another good tradition of local sport in our city. I wish the students new achievements and successes in studying, and university – to prosper and not stop moving forwards!” Founder of the Charitable Organization “Protecting the Future”, Organizer of the Competition Yevhen Shcherbakov said and awarded the winners with a diploma and a cup.

Recently, Rector has awarded almost a hundred of students and representatives of student self-government of our university for considerable achievements in science, studying and creative activities within the celebration of the 90th anniversary of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic".
