The chairman of the meeting – the President of the Student Parliament Artem Loik noted that according to the procedure for the delegation of students to the Academic Council of the university, the Student Parliament recommended 8 people, and the General Open Meeting of students should elect 5 students in accordance with the above-mentioned quota by secret ballot.
124 students took part in the secret voting and the counting committee of the General open meeting of students determined the results.
The number of student votes submitted “for”:
1. Manzhalii Kateryna Serhiivna (student of FPPP) – 41 votes;
2. Borodai Ruslana Eduardivna (student of FPPP) – 22 votes;
3. Shchur-Dunets Oleksa Ihorovych (student of ERI ACL) – 21 votes;
4. Kasian Andrii Yanovych (student of FPCS) – 12 votes;
5. Muizhniieks Illia Mykhailovych (student of ERI OG) – 11 votes.
Candidates of students who will be delegated to the Academic Council of the university were approved by secret ballot.
The elected delegates will represent the interests of the Polytechnic students as part of the Academic Council together with the president of the Student Parliament and the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students and Postgraduates.
It should be recalled that at the beginning of April, students elected a new president and members of student self-government bodies, the rector met with newly elected members of student self-government, and the top management was updated at the university.
