The student of ERIFEM Yana Kladchenko became winner in the second round of the International Student Research Competition in Business, Trade and Exchange Activity.

Student’s Start-up For Kharkiv Factory Wins at International Competition

The meeting of the specialized competition commission of the second round of the International Student Research Competition in Business, Trade and Exchange Activity was held at Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University.

48 scientific articles of 64 authors from 10 countries were submitted to the competition, there were the representatives of 32 higher education institutions. They were divided into three thematic sections as follows:

- Section 1. “Touristic Business”;

- Section 2. “Business Marketing”;

- Section 3. “Business Administration”.

The student of group 401EP of Education and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management (ERIFEM) Yana Kladchenko has won the third place among the students from Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Georgia, Latvia, Slovenia, France, Scotland, the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan.

The prize winner performed research on the topic “Start-up: the Production of Resource Saving Constructive Solutions with the European Technologies at Kharkiv Metal Constructions Factory PJSC”. The research was conducted together with PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” Kseniia Chychulina and with a foreign partner, Doctor of Business Administration of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia), PhD Besika Bauchadze.

“The student’s research was conducted basing on the knowledge received at the only start-up school of Poltava region, the Start-up School of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”. The economic evaluation of European technologies at the example of a real Ukrainian company gave the possibility to determine the perspectives of introducing such a project in the real economy sector and its payback period,” Kseniia Chychulina commented.

With the advise of the Department of Economics, Business and Marketing the students bring more and more wins at international and all-Ukrainian research competitions every year. This is a reasonable ground for starting new promising scientific projects.
